Born in London England, Frank is the eldest of four children, he grew up in Bermondsey, London and the south east London/Kent border. He still lives in south east London with Jill, his wife of 43 years. They have one daughter, Kate:- and two grand daughters, Sophie and Emily.

Frank supports West Ham and England football teams and the England Rugby squad, plus some British boxers.
​
His interest in music began when he was very young and his dad George -who was an amateur pianist, helped him to learn piano.
Frank taught himself to play guitar, and learned to sing and develop instrumental skills as well by listening to records and learning from the recording artists he listened to.

To this day Frank has toured with his solo keyboard and voice shows in the UK, Europe, plus Scandinavia and the USA. In addition to this Frank has also toured widely and played shows and concerts with London Streetcore Oi! band Superyob, in the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and the USA too.
He has written and co-written many successfully recorded and released songs in the street punk and Oi! scene. He has also been a successful producer for many other bands and artists;- and guested as keyboard player and vocalist on many recordings by other artists.
Also, as an active fine artist and graphic artist, over the years Frank's fine artwork and graphic artwork creations have been appreciated by a worldwide public. He has successfully created print ready graphic artwork used for Superyob publicity, T-shirts, cd and vinyl recording releases -plus the Superyob stage backdrop;- in addition to graphic artwork used for his own solo recording releases.

His written work and journalism has featured in national and local publications, and his published book called " Living with Spirits" in 1993 sold over 100,000 copies in the UK. He appeared on national television and national and local radio discussing the book, which deals with the supernatural.

His original instrumental and orchestral work includes many piano and keyboard compositions; plus the sound track to a specialist video film called "Airboat 85" released in Uk Europe and the USA:- also a nu-classix suite of music called "50 Years, a Celebration" on private release.
The largest musical work Frank has written (as Frank Marshall) is a two and a half hour stage/film musical work called "Swinging City" which came to life in collaboration with writer and librettist Robert Burns;- Frank composed all the music and arranged and produced the entire work.
